THE COMMITMENT

• Full time work for 18 months
• You’ll earn $24.17 per hour + super

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

• Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age appropriate activities that support children's learning, creativity, and development
• Support safe outdoor play and exploration, encouraging physical activity and overall wellbeing
• Create a warm, inclusive space where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to develop social and emotional skills
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes and rest periods
• Observe and document children's learning and development, sharing insights with families
• Ensure safety guidelines are being met, and environments are hazard-free

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone aged 18-26* who is an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and:

• Is enthusiastic
• Has empathy and emotional intelligence
• Is a reliable team player
• Has strong communication skills
• Is creative and adaptable

Mandatory Requirements: 

To work in this role, you’ll need to provide two work or professional references, plus hold (or be willing to get) a current Working With Children Check (or relevant state equivalent) and a Police Check. Y Careers makes it easy by covering the cost and helping you every step of the way.
