WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

You’ll be out and about looking after clients, earning great pay, and making a real impact in Home Care, with our awesome employer partner, a major home care and aged care provider in Canberra. You will:

• Provide quality care and support to elderly clients in their home as per care plans 
• Provide social support through outings, shopping and companionship
• Assist with personal care such as showering, hygiene, and dressing
• Provide support with domestic duties and cleaning
• Encourage independence, reablement and wellbeing of clients with a culture of doing with, not for
• Medication assistance (those that don’t have this skill, will be trained) 

ABOUT YOU 

We’re on the lookout for someone aged 18 – 26* who: 

• Has empathy and emotional intelligence 
• Is a reliable team player 
• Has high ethical standards, is trustworthy and confidential 
• Has strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS 

• Certificate III Individual Support (Aged Care/Home and Community Care) (or higher) or similar, or studying towards Nursing qualification
• Current Australian drivers licence 
• Reliable and registered vehicle and current comprehensive car insurance that can be used for work purposes 
• Smart phone
• NDIS screening clearance 
• Police check
