How it works

When you successfully start a traineeship with Y Careers, you and the trainee who referred you will each receive a $100 digital Visa gift card.

To apply, you must:
 

  • Be aged 18-26*
  • Be an Australian or new Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident

*The traineeship is part of a Commonwealth-exempt employment program under the Age Discrimination Act 2004, aimed at improving employment opportunities for young people aged 18-26.

If you're eligible, successfully offered a traineeship, and sign your employment contract, you and your friend will each receive $100 digital Visa gift card.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The referral program is run by Y Careers Ltd (ABN 14 661 407 343).
  • To refer someone, you must be a current trainee employed by Y Careers.
  • You must submit the referral using the official online referral form.
  • You can’t refer yourself.
  • The person you refer must meet all Y Careers eligibility and recruitment requirements.
  • You and the person you refer will each receive a $100 digital Visa gift card if the referred person:
    • is successfully chosen for a traineeship, and
    • signs an employment contract with Y Careers.
  • Only one referral bonus can be paid per person referred.
  • If more than one person refers the same candidate, the bonus goes to the first valid referral received.
  • Gift cards are not transferable
  • Referral bonuses are issued after eligibility is confirmed.
  • Y Careers may change, pause or end the referral program at any time.
  • All referral bonuses are approved at the discretion of Y Careers.
