Their long-day-care centre, Kindy Cove offers a preschool program to children three to six-years old. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Greet each child warmly, fostering a sense of belonging and security.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of indoor and outdoor environments to ensure they are hazard-free.
  • Implement child-centred, play-based learning experiences that cater to individual interests and developmental stages, as outlined in the approved learning frameworks.
  • Provide opportunities for physical activity and exploration in a safe outdoor setting, promoting physical development and well-being.
  • Encourage healthy eating habits and supervise children during meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Offer rest or nap periods tailored to the needs of each child, respecting their individual routines.
  • Facilitate collaborative activities that promote social skills and peer interactions.
  • Engage children in arts, music, and imaginative play to foster creativity and cognitive development.
  • Observe and document children's learning and development, sharing insights with families to maintain open communication.
