You will: Supervise and engage with children in a safe and supportive environment, including during excursions Assist with setting up, cleaning, and maintaining activity spaces to ensure a welcoming environment Communicate professionally with children, families, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth daily operations Support the planning and delivery of programs and activities, including Vacation Care Maintain accurate records and follow policies, procedures, and relevant legislation Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development as required ABOUT YOU We’re on the lookout for someone aged 18 – 26* who: Is available to work flexible hours, including morning shifts 6:15 am – 8:45 am, afternoon shifts 2:30 pm – 6 pm, and vacation care Is a reliable and responsible team player Has high ethical standards, is trustworthy and confidential Has strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Cert III in Children’s Services, Outside School Hours Care, or other relevant industry qualification Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing programs suitable for school-aged children Willingness to work across both OOSH and Preschool services Ability to work on a rotating roster during Vacation Care Ability to undertake all physical requirements involved with the early childhood setting, including lifting loads of 20 kg, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, trunk twisting, kneeling, sitting and standing for duration Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate, Child Protection Certificate or willingness to obtain Food Safety Supervisor course or willingness to obtain Current Working With Children Check Up-to-date Police Check Join our recruitment program and WORK DIFFERENT.
