Program Highlights
Benefits to your organisation
Employing a trainee offers significant benefits to your organisation. Our program matches employers with talented candidates and provides dedicated support through our Career Coaches. Upon program completion, you have the option to hire the trainee, helping you build a qualified and skilled workforce.
How does the traineeship work
The traineeship program provides a solution for organisations looking to invest in the development of young people while meeting their operational needs. With a flexible partnership approach, organisations can join at any time during the year with rolling intakes to meet staffing needs.
Y Careers employs the young person and matches them with Employer Partners to deliver on-the-job training and supervision.
Trainees receive a competitive hourly wage while studying a nationally recognised qualification and working in industry.
The recruitment, selection, induction, onboarding, payroll, and regulatory compliance is all managed by Y Careers.
Employer partners will benefit from a dedicated career coach, providing personalised support to both the supervisor and trainee maximising program success.
