Any dissatisfaction or concern regarding our services, staff, or processes that you feel needs addressing. We take complaints seriously and are committed to addressing and resolving them fairly and respectfully.

Our Process

1
Contact Us

There are a number of ways you can submit your feedback or make a complaint.

In the first instance, we encourage you to speak with your Y Careers staff member or representative (in most cases we expect that issues can be resolved quickly).

You can also complete and email our feedback and complaints form below to complaints@ycareers.org.au or call us on 1300 198 701.

2
Our Response Time

If your complaint cannot be resolved through your initial contact, our goal is to investigate and respond within 14 working days of receiving a complaint. For more complex issues, we’ll keep you updated on the anticipated timeline.

3
Resolution & Follow Up

We will follow up and investigate as applicable.

All feedback and complaints are handled with transparency, respect, confidentiality and a commitment to continuous improvement.

You will receive a clear written response including any applicable recommended actions we are taking.

4
Appeals

If you feel your issue has not been resolved to your satisfaction, please make an appeal via the contact methods listed above. There is no time limit on when appeals can be raised with us.

An appeal will be reviewed and responded to within 14 working days. If the appeal review will take longer, you will be notified of anticipated timelines.

External & Independent Help

It is your right to seek independent advice or support when making a complaint.

Equally, if you feel your Complaint or Appeal is not resolved by Y Careers you may wish to make a complaint to a relevant independent body such as your state-based Group Training Organisation (GTO) regulator or training authority.

Speak Up Policy

We are committed to the highest standards of ethical and responsible conduct. Our Speak Up Policy encourages anyone to report concerns about unethical, illegal, or unsafe practices freely and without fear of retaliation.

If you believe there’s been misconduct or behaviour that doesn’t align with our values or standards, we want to hear from you. We provide safe, confidential ways for you to report these concerns in our Speak Up Policy.

Speaking up helps us protect our people, our organisation, and the communities we serve.
