Growing career pathways for young people

Liverpool is one of NSW’s fastest-growing and most diverse regions and it’s full of opportunity.

We recently developed a report with Learning Creates Australia, Ember Advisors, local schools, council and industry partners, to reveal the real skills, pathways and possibilities available to young people in Liverpool NSW.

Focusing on four fast-growing care sector industries including Allied Health, Health Technology, Early Childhood Education, and Aged and Disability Care, it highlights in-demand roles, clear progression pathways and the importance of recognising young people’s existing skills and experiences.

The findings show how strengths-based, place-based career guidance can help young people build meaningful, well-paid careers without needing a high ATAR or leaving their community.
