Unlock Government Support to Host Trainees in Education & Care

Unlock Government Support to Host Trainees in Education Care 2

If you're an employer in the education and care sector looking to build your future workforce, now is the perfect time to partner with Y Careers. The Australian Government has introduced the Group Training Organisation (GTO) Reimbursement Program, making it easier and more affordable for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to take on trainees.

What is the GTO Reimbursement Program?

As part of the 2024-25 Budget, the Australian Government has announced a new incentive to support SMEs hosting Australian Trainees in priority sectors. This program reimburses GTOs for some of their service fees, reducing costs for businesses that partner with a GTO for the first time in two years.

By partnering with Y Careers, you can access up to $5,200 over 12 months - to help offset the cost of a traineeship in your workplace.

Why Partner with Y Careers?

Y Careers specialises in traineeships for the education and care sector, providing recruitment, onboarding, education and administration while providing career coaching to help young employees succeed. With this government-backed funding, it's now even more cost-effective to host a trainee and secure the future of your workforce with young people.
