Y Careers Partners with Getmee AI to Launch Advanced AI-Powered Training and Coaching Platform

Y Careers and Getmee AI

MEDIA RELEASE

Y Careers, a not-for-profit social enterprise committed to empowering young Australians into meaningful careers, has partnered with leading AI coaching platform Getmee. This collaboration will support the strategic development of an intelligent, user-centric digital experience for Y Careers participants.

The staged rollout will see Y Careers participants and Career Coaches use a customised and Y Careers-branded Getmee AI coaching app for preparing young people for work in the Education and Care Industries.

At the heart of this innovative initiative is a Master Services Agreement for the development of a powerful, fully integrated portal designed to streamline skills training and career coaching.

The platform will reduce manual overheads through smart automation, increase accessibility to tailored support, and deliver ongoing engagement through features designed to be indispensable to work readiness.

Getmee will work closely with the Y Careers leadership and technology teams to deliver a bespoke feature set tailored to the organisation’s unique needs.

Getmee will tailor its existing AI system to support the specific goals of the Y Careers program: attracting, engaging, and supporting career seekers while simultaneously empowering career coaches and employer partners.

Y Careers Executive Director Amaresh Devanesen says the collaboration is an exciting step toward delivering a more scalable and effective model of support for youth employment.

“This partnership allows us to reimagine how we deliver career guidance-by placing innovative AI coaching directly into the hands of young people and building something that feels relevant, responsive and designed just for them,” Mr Devanesen said.

Y Careers Chief Information Officer Mark Mitchell says the initiative is aligned with the future of career support.

“Our mission is to align technology to the goals of our people and programs, and this platform does exactly that. It will create a single digital experience where users can find education support, job pathways, and wellbeing services,” he said.

Getmee CEO and Founder Balendran Thavarajah says the partnership establishes the next frontier in AI-assisted employability.

“Getmee is proud to work with Y Careers to build a meaningful and scalable system that empowers users with personalised coaching for both communication and employability,” Mr Thavarajah said.

“Through this partnership, we are co-creating a social innovation platform that will help thousands of young people discover their potential and step into sustainable employment.”

As the project progresses, both organisations will explore ways to promote the platform in the industry further, increasing its value to employers, career seekers, and support networks nationwide.
