Finding skilled workers in education and care is tough. As a Group Training Organisation (GTO), we’re the legal employer of the trainee and place them with you for hands-on experience. We offer traineeships at Certificate III and Diploma levels, managing payroll, compliance and ongoing support so you can focus on delivering quality care.

18-month part-time traineeship studying a Cert III in Outside School Hours Care or Cert III in Community Services.
Option to continue into a second year to complete a Diploma of School Age Education and Care.
Personal Care Worker traineeship
12-month traineeship studying a Cert III in Individual Support
Option to continue into a second year to complete a Cert IV in Ageing support or a Diploma of Community Services.
Lifestyle and Wellbeing traineeship
12-month traineeship studying a Cert IV Leisure and Health
Option to continue into a second year to complete a Diploma of Community Services.
Disability Support traineeship
12-month traineeship studying a free Cert III in Individual Support (Disability)

This will be a collaborative process with the Y Careers Recruitment Team. The team will work with you to establish your needs and will facilitate tailored recruitment activities to source suitable candidates for your review.
Your trainee’s progress will be monitored by a team consisting of their Y Careers Career Coach, Trainer, and Employer Partner Supervisor.

Y Careers is the trainee’s legal employer; however, the trainee will be “hosted” at your place of business and will work for you.
