In this 12-week innovation and leadership program, you’ll tackle real problems, develop creative solutions and pitch them to the people who matter. All are supported by expert mentors, coaches and industry pros.
This isn’t just training—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of care innovators.

Learn in-demand skills like design thinking, entrepreneurship, leadership and creative problem-solving. You'll also receive accreditation from the University of Sydney to support your future studies and career progression.
You’ll join a network of ambitious, purpose-driven young people and connect with industry mentors, leaders, and innovators across the care economy.
You’ll walk away with something real: a fully tested innovation that could change how care is delivered in your workplace and beyond!
Early-career employees (18–26-year-olds) in the care industry — including early learning, aged care, and disability support — who are passionate about improving the system and ready to step into leadership.

Y Careers Coaches are the heart of our support model. They work closely with each trainee and their suppervisor to:
Build confidence and workplace readiness
Set personalised goals and career pathways
Provide regular check-ins and mentoring
Resolve any issues that come up during placement
Keep employers informed and supported throughout
For employers, this means fewer HR pressures, stronger engagement and better outcomes. Your coach is your go to contact, helping your trainee succeed and fully supporting you along the way.
We meet young people where they are and help them see what’s possible. We connect with young people through digital platforms and targeted outreach. Through our large net They apply via our jobs board and we work closely with them to ensure they’re ready, motivated and aligned with your needs. Through screening and support, we match you with the right candidate!
You’ll be guided by a powerhouse group of innovators and leaders:
