RECEIVE A $2,000 + GST REBATE
Sign a trainee by January/February 2027 and your school will receive a $2,000 incentive. $1,000 paid at the 6-month milestone and $1,000 paid at the 10-month milestone, on top of full recruitment and coaching support.
The Traineeship
Y Careers is an Australian Government-supported, not-for-profit organisation placing young people into paid traineeships across sectors facing real workforce shortages. Our Education Support Traineeship pairs your school with a motivated trainee working toward a nationally recognised qualification, fully managed and supported by our team from day one.
• Qualification: Certificate III in Education Support
• Traineeship: Full time, 38 hours per week
• Duration: 11 months, across the school year

How It Works

Trainees receive a competitive hourly wage while studying a nationally recognised qualification and gaining real classroom experience.
Recruitment, selection, onboarding, payroll and regulatory compliance are all managed by Y Careers, so your leadership team can stay focused on students.
A dedicated Career Coach supports both your trainee and their supervisor throughout the placement, maximising retention and program success.
Covers wages, superannuation, workers compensation, full recruitment and Career Coach support. This excludes the course fee.
